ADAM ATHANASIOS

Dr ADAM ATHANASIOS, orthopaedic specialist in Thessaloniki, is graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He was further specialized in the Department of prothesis - total arthroplasties of the “Sahlgrenska” University Hospital in Goteborg, Sweden, as well as in the Department of children's surgery in “Booth Hall” children's hospital in Manchester, UK, and in the Department of shoulder surgery in the Academic Hospital “Asklepios Klinik Seligenstadt” in Frankfurt, Germany. He is an active member of the International College of Surgeons and he has participated and lectured in numerous orthopedic conferences. Furthermore, he has been trained in the clinic “Policlinico Ponte San Pietro” in Milan, Italy (Foot surgery) and in “Hospital for Special Surgery” (HSS) in Manhattan, New York (Total knee and hip arthroplasties).

Dr Athanasios Adam, Orthopedic Surgeon in Thessaloniki, maintains two private practice offices, at the center of Thessaloniki and in Euromedica, General Clinic of Thessaloniki. Since 2014, he has founded “Orthoprothesis Center”, a medical center of reconstructive hip, knee and shoulder surgery. He is the first to bring new technologies in the arthroplasty practice, with the digital total knee and hip arthroplasty, without blood loss, and with Minimal Invasive Surgery - MIS techniques, that make it possible for patients to walk immediately after surgery.
