The company DASKALAKIS EMMANOUIL, which is based in Tavros, has been specialising in the manufacture of supplies and equipment for funeral parlours, as well as interior linings for coffins.

The company’s knowledge and experience in this field began in 1984 when the company's founder, Eleni Daskalaki, put a great deal of effort and hard work into starting her business. At that time, she only made pillows and bows and used wreath ribbons, which were supplied by funeral parlours as her raw materials. In the beginning, this small craft business served and worked with a number of funeral parlours in Athens and Piraeus.
