APOSTOLOPOULOU ALEXANDRA

Dietitian - nutritionist Apostolopoulou Alexandra in Amaliada is a graduate dietitian - nutritionist from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. She specialized in eating disorders and obesity at the National Organization for Eating Disorders (CDC), in collaboration with his counterpart in Great Britain (NCFED).

She is an expert in sports nutrition according to the certification of Peak Performance and has presented with her colleagues an announcement at the 27th International Conference of Physical Education and Sport on 'The functional leg training and effect on strength, speed, jump and agility in young basketball players' (10-12 May 2019).

At the beginning of her professional activity in 2003 in Amaliada, the food industry gained legal representation in the wider region. Thus she was appointed prefectural representative of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians.

Her professional activity was extended to the branch of her office in Pyrgos for 6 years with great success. She cooperates with gyms in the wider area, with weight loss centers, with beauty salons, with federations of football and basketball teams, but also with nurseries and kindergarten schools. She has taught the course of nutrition at IEK Amaliada. She has been for several years guest editor in health columns of all local newspapers, women's magazines and guest on local channel TV shows.

Her participation with oral announcements in seminars-conferences of medical interest at both local and wider level, takes place since 2003 and continues to this day. Her nutritional advice is directly related to the international guidelines of World Health Organizations.
