DRAGONAS PETROS

Dragonas Petros is a pathologist - diabetologist, who resides in Zante (Zakynthos), where he also has his private medical practice.

He acquired the specialty of pathology at the Agios Andreas Hospital of Patras, where he was also a doctor at the Diabetology Department. He is also a member and scientific fellow of the European Association For The Study Of Diabetes and of the American Diabetes Association.

The doctor provides his services daily, which, among other, include the general assessment of the diabetic patient, the direct, painless and accurate measurement of glycated hemoglobin with the state-of-the-art Afinion AS 100 measuring device, and the adjustment of the antidiabetic treatment. They also include the evaluation and treatment of diabetic foot syndrome and the provision of nutritional guidelines and instructions for the regulation of the body weight and the ΒΜΙ (body mass index).

In parallel, there is the opportunity of communication with diabetic patients 24 hours a day, as well as the option of medical visits at home.
