PAPIOS

The funeral parlor - memorial service organizer PAPIOS, based in Athens, which is specialized in memorial services, began its course in the sector of confectionery, in the 1920s.

In 1925 PAPIOS opened his first confectionery, at the METS area, near the 1st Cemetery of Athens and he was the one who established the creation of memorial service trays from confectioneries. Moreover, he established the oriental kollyva in Athens.

After his death, in 1968 his sons Petros & Nikos Papios undertook the management of the confectionery and proceeded to innovations. Since 1971, the confectionery is located at the store it operates today, opposite to the entrance of the 1st Cemetery of Athens.

In the 100 years of services the confectionery offers, the PAPIOS confectionery has prepared & organized the memorial services of all the prominent persons of Greece. The PAPIOS store undertakes the full organization of the memorial service of your beloved person, in any area, with consistency & responsibility.
