The KARAMELENIA nursery school (day care center) was founded in 1995 in Evosmos. The school follows a full educational programme which is designed to meet the children’s needs depending on their age.
There are 3 sections which are based on the children’s ages: from 2.5 to 4 years old the children attend the first nursery section, from 4 to 5 years old they join the second nursery section and from 5 to 6 years old they go to the pre-school section (Nipio) (recognized by the Ministry of Education).
All sections are staffed by experienced and established nursery teachers and infant teachers.
The educational process uses the latest technology in this field, interactive boards which transform learning into a fun game.
The school works with a paediatrician, and a child psychologist visits the nursery every month and runs a parenting group.
The children are taken to and from school on a new school bus.
At the beginning of the school year, the children are evaluated by a group of speech therapists.
