KONTOULIS THEODOROS MD, FRCS, PhD, FEBS - BS is a mastologist and a member of the Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) of England; he holds the European Specialization Title as a breast surgeon by the European Board of Surgery (EBSQ-BS), which he has received after successfully passing the respective exams, and operates his private medical office in Thessaloniki.

He is a graduate and Doctor of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He was trained, for many years, in modern mastology - breast surgery as a paid Senior Registrar, Senior Oncoplastic Fellow at the internationally renowned breast centers of London (Guy’s & St. Thomas’ / King’s College and St. Mary’s & Charing Cross / Imperial College), and Lyon (Léon Bérard Cancer Center). Furthermore, he worked as Consultant Breast & Oncoplastic Surgeon at Leighton Hospital in Cheshire.

He has a long-standing and extensive experience in certified breast centers of Great Britain and France in oncoplastic surgery (oncological safety with aesthetically acceptable results) with modern surgical techniques, that reduce the need for mastectomy.

Some of the services he provides are breast reconstruction after mastectomy, Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, Skinsparing / nipplesparing mastectomy. At the same time, he performs biopsies without surgery - Core biopsy / FNA, as well as preventive breast sceening.
