The Day Care Center NANOURI MAIRI - MODEL PRESCHOOL PEDAGOGICAL CENTER, in Chalandri, is a safe environment designed to protect the health and safety of the children attending the school and to support their physiological needs for action, play, food, rest and fresh air.

The class rooms and the school environment provide a variety of materials and opportunities, so the children can enjoy experiences which are meaningful for them. We have large, bright class rooms with lots of windows and the school has natural and artificial ventilation and air conditioning in all areas. It also has underfloor heating, which is ideal for a warm climate and means we do not use central heating radiators which are dangerous for young children. We also have a special room for first aid, pediatrics and medicines.

Our kitchen, where we prepare the children’s food, is equipped with all the latest modern technological appliances (professional oven, hobs, which even if you touch them when they are on full, do not burn you, etc.).

The garden has a natural lawn. Our school bus is driven by an experienced driver and the children are accompanied on the bus by an experienced assistant.

At specific intervals, our school is visited by a paediatrician, a dentist, a speech therapist and a psychologist.

Finally, our school has fire safety equipment and observes all the necessary safety regulations in all areas. We have a central sprinkler system, smoke detection systems, fire extinguishers and fire doors and we have been awarded a fire protection certificate.
