MYKONIAN HYGEIA POLYCLINIC is a contemporary private clinic & medical diagnostic centre - clinic, located in Mykonos, at Dexamenes area on the new peripheral road, in a short distance from ports, Mykonos town and airport.

The clinic has been providing consistently high quality health care services in Mykonos island for the last 20 years, under one roof. The co-founder, Dr George Tsekouras, is an English trained Orthopedic Surgeon who worked for 4 years at N.H.S., in several orthopedic hospitals in Midlands, U.K.

The Private Clinic Mykonian Hygeia is housed in a building of 700 square meters, with the aim of better evaluation of the injured and the high level of professional treatment of all incidents. The clinic has specialists who work together to quickly diagnose and treat any incident and is staffed by Orthopedic, ENT, Radiologist, Cardiologist, General Practitioner, Ophthalmologist, Dentist, Dermatologist, Gynecologist & Gastroenterologist.

The Private Clinic & Medical Diagnostic Centre MYKONIAN HYGEIA POLYCLINIC is equipped with the most modern medical equipment, such as plane x-ray, CT scanner, ultrasound, orthopantomography, biochemistry and hematology unit for emergency, emergency blood - urine analysis, electrocardiograms, defibrillators, monitor, pulse oximeters, oxygen generator devices etc. and undertakes a wide range of diagnostic tests.

The medical centre has got modern technology within a caring and comfortable environment, in order to offer the best and most complete tailored medical care for you and your family in Mykonos.

Several physicians and surgeons along with certified nurses are proud to offer a wide range of medical / therapeutic treatments and related comprehensive guidance.

In case of emergency, there is a specialized medical team and ambulance wagons and specially equipped helicopter and plane, escorted by a doctor, for emergency medical airlift in the patient's destination of choice.

Fluent in English, the clinic staff takes care, during the high season, of patients from the majority of cruise boats, sailing boats and yachts, which approach Mykonos Island. Patients can be examined or followed up in the clinic, hotel room or elsewhere.

English medical report is given to all foreign patients and 'fit to travel by boat or airplane' certification can be provided upon demand. Great care has been given to foreign patients in order to facilitate understanding of their problem, the therapeutic options, the treatment upon leaving the clinic or travelling to other destinations.

Most of the internationally recognized insurance companies with affiliates in Greece are accepted.

The office does not close at lunchtime and working hours during the high season are stretched to accommodate patient's needs.
