KOSMIDOU MARY Dr is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist and works privately in the center of Thessaloniki.

She received her doctorate (1991) in clinical psychology from American University, Washington, DC, USA and did her clinical internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA.

She did postdoctoral research on psychophysiology and neuropsychology at the National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda, MD and worked privately as well.

Currently, she is a professor in the School of Psychology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

The services she provides include:

Cognitive-behavior therapy for anxiety, depression, difficulties in interpersonal relations, schizophrenia, eating disorders and overeating, trichotillomania, issues related to aging, etc.

Neuropsychological assessments for cognitive impairment, such as problems with memory, attention, verbal abilities, etc. (for example, due to head injury, stroke, learning disabilities).

Clinical supervision to new psychologists.

Finally, she has published three books in Greek, many research papers and book chapters and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
