LAGHIOS ADVANCED DENTISTRY

Lagios Konstantinos DDS MS USA, is a dentist - endodontist at LAGHIOS ADVANCED DENTISTRY, who is based in Athens; from 1994 to 1997 he studied at the three-year postgraduate training endodontics program of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas Texas, USA, where he acquired his endodontics degree and his Master’s degree. Since 1997, he operates an innovative center of endodontics treatment in the area of Hilton Hotel in Athens, where he accepts patients from all over Greece.

During his entire professional course, he has given lectures in Greece, as well as in other countries of the world, teaching modern endodontics methods, as well as the use of surgical microscope. His articles have been published in Greek and foreign journals, while many of his treatments have been published in the “Pathways of the Pulp” journal, as well as in books in Europe and America. He has, also, given speeches to postgraduate students of the following universities: University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA and Baylor College of Dentistry, USA.

On the 13th of May 1995, he received the 3d award in the event of the American Association of Endodontists. In 1997, his research for his Master’s degree was ranked among the top 3 for new scientists in Europe and received an award at the European Endodontic Congress in Gothenburg, Sweden, where it was, also, announced.

He was the official guest speaker of the American Association of Endodontists. He has been awarded, until today, honorary titles for his contribution in the progress of science and the advances in the sector of endodontics.

He is a member of the Athens Dental Association and of the American Association of Endodontists.

Since 2007, he is a member of the scientific team of GIDE / UCLA and teaches at the postgraduate training program in implantology.

He is a member of the scientific team of the Berlin Oral Implantology Master Program, where he teaches at the postgraduate training program in implantology and is the scientific editor of the endodontics - periodontology journal and a founding member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists.

Mr. Lagios was the founder and president of the scientific society “Hellenic Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry”, the honorary president of the non-profit organization for social solidarity work “Friendship Bridge”. Moreover, he is a member of the Hellenic Society for the Protection of the Environment and the Cultural Heritage. Finally, he is the former president of the Interbalkan Cultural Organization for the Dissemination of Greek Language.

His main concern is to save from extraction even the most difficult teeth, as well as to eliminate fear and pain from his patients.
