PAIDIKORAMA

Welcome to PAIDIKORAMA, the day care centre where fantasy meets reality - based in Panorama Thessaloniki.

Our school is in a lush natural environment, away from the noises of the city. These natural surroundings mean that our educators can often hold learning activities outside, in our landscaped courtyards.

PAIDIKORAMA nursery school has innovative preschool facilities with 2 separate playgrounds, and recreation and sports areas.

We have a modern educational curriculum with thematic projects and visual arts. Children enjoy psychomotor games, study science and take part in role play and we also organize educational and fun trips. Our children learn music and English, and we provide them with environmental and museum-based education and experiential learning on our petting farm with domestic animals. We also organize events and celebrations, and the children can join in Taekwondo, ballet and theatrical games.

We have an arts and music room, a gym, a theatre and 8 privately owned school buses. A large part of the day is dedicated to experiential games, which are designed to teach children to share, interact and cooperate. Children here learn to love books, to grow vegetables in our garden, to take care of our farm animals, to adopt healthy habits, and to volunteer.

At PAIDIKORAMA, we make sure that our school environment encourages learning by taking advantage of children's natural curiosity and their innate disposition for exploration and discovery. Our role is twofold: We provide the right conditions for children to grow up safely, joyfully and without worry, and to make new friends and gradually develop a healthy personality. At the same time, we support parents, embracing their worries and concerns and making sure they have an active role in their child’s nursery education and strengthening the relationship of trust and interaction between school and home. We have been welcoming new children year every year since 1994 - they come to join our big family, we build wonderful childhood memories, we nurture them, we take care of them, and we embrace them.

We finished building our highly innovative privately owned facilities in 2002. Since 2008 we have also been operating a private kindergarten (pre-toddlers - toddlers), in accordance with the specifications set down by the Ministry of Education.

We prepare breakfast and lunch daily.

We provide medical monitoring by a paediatrician, a paediatric dentist, and an ENT specialist.

We also work with a child psychologist and a speech therapist, and we provide counselling for parents.

We admit children from all of Eastern Thessaloniki.
