At the alternative treatments center PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC - ZACHARIOUDAKIS G - AGIOMYRGIANNAKI D, which is based at Gazi, Heraklion, Crete, are performed therapies that change the daily lives of the people that have trusted us.

The ambition of our center is that all therapies that are analyzed below are performed in a single session, so that we can achieve the best and most immediate possible results. We have helped many patients of all ages at our alternative therapy center, from infants to elderly people. Our only concern at the “Physical Therapy Clinic” is to help the people who need us overcome the problems that affect them negatively in their daily lives.

Reflexology with Shiatsu

The therapy includes 3 stages, which have a duration of 2 hours approximately. The first stage, the pre-treatment, consists of the beginning of the treatment with a machine bed “bella vita” for 15', in order to soften the body (muscular and skeletal system), which consists of hot rocks and generates pressure to the body. The second stage, the main treatment, includes special therapeutic pressures that are performed to the entire body, in various positions. These pressures have to do with shiatsu, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine, which helps reducing pain, improving the overall health of the body, improving mobility and increasing the positive energy of the human body. Moreover, we use cupping therapy, for hyperaemia in the pain area, as well as to soften the muscular system and the inflammations. The third stage is reflexology, during which, through pressures to the soles, we help the human body improve the function of internal organs. This treatment helps in all musculoskeletal, neurological, pathological and psychological problems. Moreover, we use specific positions and pressures for pregnancy.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a therapy that is used since ancient times. It is the processing of natural herbs, in which the active substance of the herb is extracted and used to improve the problems of the patient. These can be either musculoskeletal, or psychological, or pathological problems. The homeopathy session can last from 1 to 2 hours.

Ackerman chiropractic system

With the chiropractic techniques of the Ackerman system, we can correct minor displacements that can be caused to our body, through an accident, a fall or bad posture. Joints with displacements, usually cause much pain, as well as stiffness.
