ZAMPOULIS CHRYSANTHOS

The internist (pathologist) ZAMPOULIS CHRYSANTHOS Dr operates a medical office in Thessaloniki and is an associate of the Interbalkan Medical Center.

He is professor emeritus of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has an extensive clinical and research experience in the diagnosis and treatment of arterial hypertension and in the clinical pharmacology of antihypertensive medicines. At the same time, he treats the effects of arterial hypertension in cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases and diabetes.

He worked as a consultant at the 2nd Preparatory Internal Medicine Clinic of the Hippokrateio Hospital of Thessaloniki, he was the president of the Hellenic Society of Hypertension, member of the National Council of Research & Technology, member of DIKATSA/DOATAP (the Hellenic Inter-University Center for the Recognition of Degrees acquired Abroad) and representative of Greece in the EU for issues of research and technology.

His research work, which he continues as a member of the Center of Excellence - Hypertension of the Papageorgiou Hospital, includes a multitude of presentations and publications in Hellenic and International congresses (11 chapters in books, 150 publications in International and Hellenic journals, has been cited over 3,000 times, supervisor in 30 dissertations), with awards and distinctions in Greece and abroad.
