The technical company (technical contractors) that conducts electromechanical studies - supervisions and installations KONTARATOS I & SIA EE, in Zante, was established in 2000 by the qualified electrical engineer Iakovos N. Kontaratos, who graduated from the Technical School of the University of Patras.

Initially, the basic activity of the technical office was the preparation of electromechanical studies for the issue of building permits for hotel facilities, swimming pools and public meeting places. Moreover, it was active in the preparation of electromechanical studies for the issue of building permits for vehicle facilities, industrial spaces, warehouses, etc., as well as with the supervision of electromechanical installations. Subsequently, the company, also, began undertaking construction works of electromechanical installations in the private and public sector, such as electrical, hydraulic, fire safety and fire extinguishing installations, as well as swimming pool, biological treatment, security system installations and, lately, installations of photovoltaics and energy inspections.

The company, recently, developed and applies a quality management system in the following fields: maintenance of electromechanical equipment and installations, receipt of readings and works in electric energy and hydraulic networks measuring devices. Among other services, the company provides: studies - supervisions - constructions. The studies - supervisions - constructions, also, include electrical and mechanical installations, swimming pools and biological treatment installations, water treatment - reverse osmosis, heating and air conditioning installations.

The company is active in the field of renewable energy sources, such as: photovoltaic power stations, autonomous photovoltaics, wind farms and solar thermal - geothermal applications. Finally, it undertakes operating licenses, energy saving licenses, operating licenses of industrial plants, workshops, service stations and stores. At the same time, it undertakes the measurement of electrical installations - Solemn Declarations of Electrical Installers, the maintenance of photovoltaic power stations, the maintenance of electromechanical installations, thermography, thermographic control, studies for boilers, as well as safety technician services, the provision of advice & the preparation of dossiers, energy inspections, the energy management of buildings (BEMS), central heating compensation and installations in energy compensation panels.
