LOGOS & GRAFI

The first speech, reading and writing centre operated by the company Logos & Grafi in Acharnes, is staffed by experienced speech therapists - language pathologists.

It was established in Athens, in 1993, and was the first private centre in Greece to introduce an interdisciplinary team of therapists. The Acharnes 'Logos & Grafi' Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Centre began operating in Acharnes in 2000. Sotiria Kechri took over the management of the centre in 2005 and continues to run it today.

'Logos & Grafi' centres offer scientific services to children with: speech or language difficulties, dyslexia or other learning difficulties, hyperactivity, attention deficit or behavioural problems.

They offer scientific services to children with communication disorders or other developmental disorders, difficulties with gross or fine motor movement, immaturity or mental retardation.

They, also, offer services to children with psychological or child psychiatric illnesses or family difficulties.

The centre takes care to provide diagnosis and treatment services to children and to support their families with any requests they might have.

The staff at 'Logos & Grafi' centre believes that every child has the right and the ability to access education. The centre strives to ensure that children are smoothly integrated into the family, school and society, in general, and key into the child’s potential and support his strengths at both emotional and mental levels.

Finally, they focus on ensuring that the family functions well, and on cooperating with the health and education professionals who are involved with the child.
