THE SCHOLI MORAITI (MORAITIS SCHOOL) is a private school and private educational institute in Psychiko. Since 1936, it has been one of the largest and best-known educational institutions in Greece and it currently has over 2,000 children and 240 teachers.
The school has always been recognised for the consistently high-quality education it offers. The high success rates of its students in examinations in both Greek and foreign higher education institutions bears testament to this, as do the creative careers pursued by pupils who chose other paths after they left school. Two of the key contributors to this success are, of course, the ability and ethics of the school’s teaching staff. As a body, the staff are highly educated and have many years of service with the school.
In 1991, the Scholi Moraiti was the first Greek school in Greece to offer the International Baccalaureate program. From that date on, school pupils have always enjoyed high success rates in IB examinations. The school has also received numerous awards for theatre, mathematics, science, robotics, poetry and debating. In addition to this, school teams always win top places in inter-school competitions.
