I really liked this museum as you are the arms lenght from all the exhibitions and sculptures. They are not hidden away with ropes and plexiglass but you can actually feel the charm and touch of history

Very good museum about the nearby archaeological site. We visited this museum after visiting the Dion archaeological park but wished we did the opposite way. There is more information about the places...

If you're there, the entry fee is covered by the one to the Archaeological park, and it does contain some items recovered from there, but it's a bit low key overall.

Average museum. Yes there were some interesting pieces (pipe organ, Dionysus mosaic) but given some if the amazing museums Greece has to offer in this region (Thessaloniki, Pella, Vergina) this one pales...
