LABANARIS GEORGIOS

LABANARIS GEORGIOS is a surgeon urologist in Thessaloniki. He received his full specialization in surgical urology - andrology at the second greatest urology clinic of Germany, with a capacity of 100 hospitalization beds.

In this period, he attended and participated in the diagnosis and treatment of approximately 10,000 patients and he worked over 10,000 hours in the emergency ward of the urology clinic.

He received a certification in urology ultrasound from the German Ultrasound Association, after having been trained in an ultrasound school, and he holds a degree of laparoscopic surgery of the University of Strasbourg.

Subsequently, he specialized in robotic surgery and worked as registrar of the largest center of robotically assisted urology surgery in Europe (St. Antonius Hospital, Gronau, Germany), and he was trained at the same center in the use of incontinence tapes and meshes for prolapses of the pelvic floor.

He has performed more than 2,000 urinary surgeries, among which are included open, endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.

Mr. Labanaris treats the entire range of urology cases, primarily focusing on the treatment of oncology disorders of the urinary tract, prostatic hypertrophy, cyst papillomas, urinary lithiasis and various other disorders, such as male-female urinary incontinence, infertility, and the disorders of the genital organs, such as phimosis, hydrocele, varicocele, penile curvature etc.
