Porfyra taverna (tavern) in Nopigia, Kissamos, is a family-run business on the seafront that opens its doors to the public and provides the best possible service.
This taverna serves traditional local cuisine, oven-cooked dishes, fish, local delicacies and meat cooked to order. In addition, some of the specialties of the taverna are pies, tsigariastó (slow cooked lamb or goat), grilled fish, sardines, and all kinds of tasty delicacies made with shrimps. The taverna, also, serves squid, mussels and many more dishes.

Very good esperiece beyond all the expectations, I’ve never seen fishes fresher than these. Staff very very wellcoming and honest. We visited a lot of other tavernes but no one was like Porfira.
