ANAKEM AE, a Recycling Company in Thessaloniki, is one of the first approved Collective Systems for the Alternative Management (CSAM) of Excavation, Construction and Demolition Waste (ECDW) with the most extensive network of recycling units throughout the country.

As a Collective System for the Alternative Management of Excavation, Construction and Demolition Waste, it is the body responsible for the alternative management of ECDW in its areas of coverage. It cooperates with ECDW managers (contractors of private and public projects), with Treatment Plants and with ECDW Collection and Transport Companies, for the effective management, recycling and utilization of waste.

In addition, the company supports public bodies and organizations, in particular Regions and Municipalities, for the prevention of production, the proper management and combatting against the uncontrolled disposal of waste in their area of responsibility, while at the same time informing the bodies and citizens about the procedures to be followed for the alternative management of waste from their projects.

The purpose of ANAKEM is to contribute to the achievement of the national objective for the alternative management of ECDW, to comply with the legislation and to protect the environment.
