PAPADOPOULOS PAVLOS

PAPADOPOULOS PAVLOS MD, MSc is an orthopedic surgeon (orthopaedic specialist) and sports doctor in Kalamaria.

He is a graduate of the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and performed his specialty training in the orthopedic clinics of the hospitals of Serres and Kilkis.

During his residency, he was trained in traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, reconstructive hip and knee surgery, the arthroscopic treatment of knee and shoulder injuries, the treatment of sports injuries and overuse syndromes and in pediatric orthopedics.

After the end of his specialization training, he gained great surgical experience alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons, for many years, such as Efstathios Tsirliagos, at the Agios Loukas Clinic in Thessaloniki.

After two years of study at the interuniversity postgraduate program of the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Physical Education and Sports (TEFAA) of Thessaloniki, he received the postgraduate title of sports doctor with honors, after the preparation of a research diploma thesis.

He was trained in the latest arthroscopic techniques at the ISAKOS training center, at Agios Loukas Clinic, for one year, under the auspices of TheMIS.

He was trained and certified in robotic knee replacement surgery with the NAVIO system of Smith & Nephew at the training center in London.

Today, he is a permanent partner of the Agios Loukas Clinic, and operates a medical office within the clinic. Together with his partner Thomas Lakkos, they perform a number of surgeries, including digital and robotic knee replacement surgery.

He is constantly trained in the most modern techniques and is a pioneer in his field, using the most modern orthopedic methods, state-of-the-art orthopedic materials from the most recognized firms (robotic and specialized reconstructive surgery of large joints, minimally invasive surgical operations and with fast recovery / Fast Track protocols), with the aim of continuously achieving practices to improve the services provided to the patient.

Moreover, the doctor operates a medical office in Nea Kallikrateia and in Nea Flogita, Chalkidiki.
