GIANNOPOULOU ROI

GIANNOPOULOU ROI Architects is based in Athens. Roi Giannopoulou, who runs the firm, is an architect with more than 30 years’ experience and specialises in the construction and renovation of homes and businesses.

She completed her studies at the Institute of Architecture of Venice I.U.A.V. and was awarded an Excellent grade. She studied with Professors Augusto Romano Burelli, Vittorio Greggotti, Renzo Piano, Massimo Scolari, Francesco dal Co, Aldo Rossi and others.

She is an energy inspector and has attended seminars on thermal insulation and thermal upgrading of old buildings.

She was a partner of NEOKATOIKEIN and NEOSET and worked with Forms 'n' Norms in the R&D department. She has designed a range of furniture, lighting and decorative items for houses in both Greece and Italy. In 2002 she was a founding member of the company trading under the name of RG ERGON LTD.

Since 2010, she has run her own architectural office and has been collaborating with other architects and engineers.

For 30 years of her professional career she has been working with groups which specialize in particular area of construction and which invest in continuous training through seminars in order to improve their techniques and methods.

In the last 5 years, she has completed work related to both residential and commercial premises.
