ECHOVET - MANTZIARAS GEORGIOS

The veterinary Vet & Veterinary Clinic ECHOVET - MANTZIARAS GEORGIOS, directed by Giorgos I Mantziaras, who holds a doctorate from the School of Veterinary Medicine the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is based in Marousi and specializes in ultrasound tests and in the reproduction of pets.

The doctor graduated from the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received post graduate training at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA), with which he continues to collaborate to this day. In 2012 he obtained his doctorate from the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2014 he has been a resident of the European College of Animal Reproduction (ECAR resident.SmallAnimals) with a research work on ultrasound imaging of the reproductive system. In 2016 he was elected first in votes to the 150820-21ecar34 (2) Board of Directors of the European Veterinary Society of Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR). In fact, he is the first Greek to be elected to this position. Since July 2017 he is the president of EVSSAR.

He is a member of various scientific organizations, such as:

• The Hellenic Society of Biomedical and Laboratory Animal Science
• The Hellenic Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology

At the Ultrasound Clinic EchoVet - Georgios Mantziaras, the most modern technological equipment is used, allowing the detailed examination of the abdomen, the reproductive system, the heart (Triplex), the superficial tissues and organs, the performance of guided biopsies and punctures, while there is also specialization in matters of reproductive pathology in pets. The discretionary and diagnostic ability of the veterinarians is facilitated by the use of technologies, such as: Anatomical & Color M-mode, B-Flow Imaging, Tissue Synchronization Imaging, Tissue Velocity Imaging & Tissue Tracking, Phase Inversion Harmonic Imaging, Crossbeam, Speckle Reduction Imaging, etc. Elastography (CEUS) offers additional information regarding tissue elasticity and stiffness, increasing the diagnostic sensitivity of ultrasound scanning.

The results of all tests are delivered to the owner of the examined animal or/and the referring veterinarian in electronic or printed form.
