MASTER ICE

The food-grade ice production and marketing company (Ice Dealer) MASTER ICE is based in Nea Moudania, Halkidiki and was founded in 2012 by two friends, Giannikis Athanassios and Karathanasis Apostolos.

The driving force behind their venture was their daily contact with local professionals and Halkidiki’s need for a modern ice products unit, which adheres to current standards.

The company's headquarters and factory are located in Nea Moudania, a well-known 'fishing area', which is also a “crossroads” in Halkidiki, where commercial and tourist interests meet.

It is just 50 km from Thessaloniki, next to all the beauty our area has to offer, at the point where Kassandrea meets Sithonia. The company’s passion for creation led to its wholesale activities expanding to cover all areas of Halkidiki, and also other prefectures.

The Company’s new modern facilities enable it to offer excellent quality products, which all pass though hygiene controls in accordance with the food safety system ISO 22:000 HACCP.

Ice and its derivatives come into contact with basic necessities such as food and beverages, therefore hygienic control and high quality is absolutely necessary.

MASTER ICE carries a complete range of ice products available in different sizes so it is able to satisfy all the needs of businesses. The product range includes ice columns, ice flakes and ice cubes, in various sizes, and approved means of production, storage and transportation are used in all processes for all products.

The ice is distributed by specialized staff using refrigerator trucks, so that the ice is always kept in excellent condition.

The company's facilities include a series of modern ice machines, such as the German WESSAMAT and the Italian SCOTMAN machines. These are characterized by their high production capacity and technological mixing capacity, and are ideal for hard water (salts - calcium). They are all certified as complying with European specifications. This ensure that the ice cubes maintain their crystalline appearance.
