A special massage - mobilization technique is applied, with the use of special surgical stainless steel tools, which is a form of specialized soft tissue mobilization. Its purpose is to provide an immediate analgesic effect, but also to increase mobility - elasticity from the very first session.

Ergon soft tissue Techniques, with the use of special ΕRGON TOOLS, involve the use of these special steel tools that are designed in such a way (with concave and convex parts), that they can adapt to the various tissues, shapes and curves of the body.

The Ergon Technique is an innovative development of the above IASTM treatment techniques, being the result of long-term applications and research. This technique is based on special equipment called Ergon Tools / Smart Tools.

This specific technique (Ergon® Technique) is mainly based on the theoretical background of cross friction massage, as described by Cyriax, but also on the theory of Ida Rolph’s fascial therapy and, like other tissue mobilization techniques, its main objective is the relaxation of symphyses and of any scar tissue resulting from injury and the recovery of elasticity of the connective tissue, through its re-injury and reconstruction.

In particular, the Εrgon – IASTM Techniques, in correspondence with cross-friction massage, they can:

• Reduce the deposition of scar tissue after an injury
• Reduce the hardness of already formed connective tissue deposits, and
• Facilitate the healing of chronic overuse injuries by inducing controlled microtrauma and linear tissue reattachment.

The ΙΑSTM treatment, also, results in altered microvascular morphology and hyperemia and increased fibroblast recruitment and activation, an adaptation that leads to the regeneration and repaired of damaged collagen.
