LOGOU EKFRASIS - KASTAMONITI DIMITRA

Dimitra Kastamoniti runs the LOGOU EKFRASIS - KASTAMONITI DIMITRA speech therapy - occupational therapy centre in Patra. She is a graduate with a SLP, MSc, and PhD in Speech Therapy.

The specialised “Logou Ekfrasis” speech therapy center has been operating since 2006 under the direction and supervision of the University of Patra professor of speech therapy, Dr Dimitra Kastamoniti. The centre is a well-designed space and provides any type of treatment, depending on the age and needs of the individual.

In addition, the centre also has study rooms and student preparation rooms which operate with the help of dedicated educators. The ground-breaking center offers comprehensive diagnosis, timely prevention, proper treatment and rapid rehabilitation of voice and speech disorders in children and adults, runs highly effective treatment programs and always ensures that sessions are enjoyable.

The centre is different from others, not just because the scientific professionals there are fully trained and highly experienced in their field, but also because of the quality of the services provided, both in terms of reliability and holistic treatment of problems. Our goal are to ensure that all our professionals work together, to design personalised programs for each individual we see and to keep parents, schools, paediatricians and kindergartens etc. fully up to date with each child’s progress and to work with them to find the best solution.

We work with child psychologists, psychologists, paediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and special needs teachers who, working together, provide structured knowledge and insights on each child’s individual needs.

We provide specialized treatment programs for children with PDD (autism, Asperger's).

In addition, we can also provide help for those with difficulties in motor coordination, speech, delayed speech, articulation/phonology disorders, specific language disorder, dyspraxia/dysarthria, speech flow disorders, mental retardation and hyperactivity.
