The surgeon ophthalmologist (oculist) Theoulakis Panagiotis Dr, PhD, MRCOphth, FEBOphth, CertLRS, in Rhodes, has an experience of more than 12,000 eye operations and has been trained, reaching up to the position of director, in the greatest ophthalmology centers of Switzerland and London, United Kingdom.

He was born and grew up in Rhodes and was admitted to the Medical School of Athens, after having successfully passed the National Exams; he graduated from this School with honors and received an award from the Rectorate. He was trained at the university ophthalmology clinic of the Inselspiral Hospital in Bern, Switzerland, where he also completed his doctoral thesis having as subject the intravitreous anti-VEGF injections for the treatment of the age-related macular degeneration.

He was offered an official and paid educational post in the Health System of the United Kingdom (NHS) and completed his specializations in the fields of cataract - anterior chamber, eyelids - lacrimal apparatus, refractive laser surgery.

He was a director - doctor of the famous, and greatest, ophthalmology hospital in the world, Moorfields Eye Hospital, where he trained interns from all over the world.

After an international competition, he was appointed at the permanent post of Substantive Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon of the National Health System (NHS) of the United Kingdom.

He operates a private eye clinic in London and is the scientific director and founder of the ophthalmology one-day clinic in Rhodes, Rodos Eye Clinic.
