NEURON - TSIGKAS EPAMEINONDAS

The neurologist TSIGKAS EPAMEINONDAS, with many years of clinical experience in his field, operates his medical office, NEURON - TSIGKAS EPAMEINONDAS, at the city center of Thessaloniki.

He is a graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been trained at the 2nd University Neurological Clinic of the AHEPA Hospital, receiving his specialty title as a neurologist in 1994. He worked, for many years, as a neurologic therapist at a large medical clinic of the Hellenic National Health Services Organization (EOPYY (today PEDY)) in Thessaloniki and at the Laboratory of Electromyography of the Prefectural Unit of Thessaloniki.

He deals with the entire clinical range of neurological diseases, such as: migraine and other types of headache, Parkinson’s disease and other exopyramidal syndromes, dementia and cognitive disorders, cerebrovascular events, vertigo and dizziness, posture disorders, abnormal gait and balance disorders.

Furthermore, sleep disorders are treated, as well as muscle and peripheral nervous disorders, neck pain, omo-brachial pain, lumbago and sciatica, conditions that cause paroxysmal and chronic pain, conditions with somatization.

At the medical office the laboratory verification of conditions is performed with electromyography. He has a long standing experience with several thousands of examinations of patients having been performed in the medical office until today.

The medical office is located at the city center of Thessaloniki (next to Aghias Theodoras) and is fully accessible to people with special mobility problems.

The medical office IS NOT contracted with EOPYY. The doctor is certified for prescriptions and issuing of medical referrals.
