ZOLINDAKI AGGELIKI

At the medical office of the gynecologist - obstetrician Zolindaki Aggeliki, in Chania, a full gynecological examination is performed, as well as full infertility control, full breast examination and pregnancy screening.

In 1982 she graduated from the 4th Junior High School of Chania, with Honors, being the student with the highest overall grade, and in 1985 she graduated from the 4th High School of Chania, with Honors, also being the student with the highest overall grade. In 1985 she was admitted to the Medical School of Patras from where she graduated in 1991, with a “Very Good” mark.

From the 13th of January 1992 to the 31st of January 1993 she performed her mandatory service as a rural doctor at the Health Center of Vamos and in 1993 she was trained in general surgery, for 1 year, at the General Hospital of Chania.

From the 15th of March 1993 to the 1st of October 1993, she was trained in gynecology - obstetrics, for 6 months, at the General Hospital of Chania and, from the 28th of February 1995 to the 20th of June 1999, at the clinic of obstetrics and gynecology of the University Hospital of Heraklion.

From the 11th of September 1998 to the 16th of January 1999, she earned a scholarship as salaried researcher of molecular biology at the genetics laboratory, with Mr. Tsipouras as director, at Uconn Health Center Farmington, Connecticut, USA, and from the 1st of January 2000 to the 1st of June 2000, she was trained in ultrasound, at the embryometric unit.

From 1999 until today, she works privately in Chania, exercising obstetrics - gynecology, while in 2008 she was elected as member of the board of the Medical Association of Chania, of which she was a member until 2014.

She has given lectures in associations, conferences and on television on subjects of her specialization and she has made publications in Greek and foreign medical journals and congresses (announcements in Greek and foreign congresses, etc.).

In 2006 she worked as director of the department of the Gavrilaki Gynecology Clinic and since the 1st of October 2009 she holds a degree and license to practice ultrasound scanning in obstetric gynecology, with Reg. No. Υ7α/ΓΠ.132003.

She is a member of the Hellenic Society for Ultrasound since 2009 and in the period 2010 - 2011 she received a special training in Level I, II & Advance III, IV laparoscopic surgery and performs laparoscopic surgery.
